You Can't Stop the Music Spring 2025 Campaign
Recent funding cuts have hit Ethos Music Center hard. This will not stop the music! While we are not the only nonprofit that will be facing these funding cuts, we are committed to continuing to serve as many youth as possible in meaningful ways in addition to the more than 1,000 youth currently served at our Community Hub at 2 N Killingsworth through our Music Lessons for Kids program.
To continue as much music education as possible, we are launching our “You Can’t Stop the Music” Spring Fundraising Campaign. Generous donors have agreed to match up to $7,000 for all donations received between now and June 20, 2025.Your contributions will:
offer more than 2,500 individual, group and ensemble lessons to more than 1,000 youth in the next year on a sliding scale or free basis
fund summer camps including our free Queer Rock Camp
provide free instruments or low-cost rental of instruments
conduct outreach through our Music Corps program that provides free afterschool group lessons in 14 sites in partnership with schools and nonprofit organizations
serve refugee and immigrant children 12 and up with free afterschool group lessons
