Since 1998, Ethos Music Center (Ethos) has been dedicated to making music education accessible to youth in Portland and across rural Oregon. Ethos has continued to evolve with our growing region, producing culturally responsive music programming. With that growth, the need for funding has grown, as well. We are seeking financial support from donors like you to continue our mission.
Ethos was founded in response to the defunding of public schools that virtually eliminated music education. We provide music lessons & in-school music education for students who might not have access otherwise. Each of our free or sliding scale programs provide students with the proven, researched benefits of music education: improved self esteem, emotional regulation, improved academics, greater community engagement, and more.
